Course 1 - Business I & II
Part 1: Sunday October 23, 2022:
- Come sit with us and let’s break down the basics of how to find your perfect salon setting, including questions to ask your future employer and understand what to look for to ensure your career has the best chance to thrive.
- We will get to chat with Kharma salon owner Kirstin Lebrun who will help you dissect what it means to be a commission stylist, as well as her tips and tricks to maximizing your tax return. She will also give you tips to going from an hourly stylist to a thriving commission stylist quickly and efficiently.
- The course is designed to help you reach your service goals and make your income thrive.
- By the end of the day, you will have a stronger understanding of what it takes to work full time as a stylist, tips to increase your income, and all our best kept secrets to building and maintaining a clientele.
- Join us in the afternoon as we bring in elite extension stylist Kenzie Clegg. She will briefly touch on the variety of extensions that can be offered and will share her personal story on niching in this industry over the past 13 years. Kenzie works exclusively with Kesh extensions and will be offering a certification course in the new year. She is available for all extension related questions!
Part II. Sunday November 27, 2022:
- This is where we deep dive into the details of what it takes to increase your service value, perfect your consultation skills and build your online presence.
- Social Media marketing is where most clients are going to in search of a service these days, so we will teach you all we know to building a presence online.
- Special guests Tressa Yanchuk, Jess Munro, Kirstin Lebrun and Tarah Gatsi will be joining us in the afternoon to talk shop. So bring your questions and let’s have a chat!
